Acceleration changes

2004 Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTI
Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2004
Variant: 1.3 CDTI
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi everyone,

I'll have to travel around 500 km tomorrow and today I checked everything (full service) on my Opel Corsa C. Everything went perfect until once (only once) it accelerated more than I pushed the accelerating pedal (or throttle how is it called!). It lasted for 3 or 4 seconds and it returned to normal again. I was driving constantly, around 50km/h.

Is it something I should worry about and send it to the mechanic again or start the trip like nothing happened?!

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Dont mean to scare u but get the air intake pipe removed and checked for engine oil it could be the turbo is failing (putting engine oil into the engine) a wee bit of oil is ok but if its dripping in oil ya turbo`s fubar BTN turbos is where i would send it if it the turbo basic re-build is about £200 for the turbo any good mechanic could do this for u
