my problem is just recently when i have selected 1st gear and move on it does,nt go forward it goes into reverse! scarey yes, it doesn't always do this its intermittent netherles dangerous.
what could cause this?

you need to replace the selector bushes only available from the dealer these plastic bushes are or you csn replace the whole gear selector mechanism but at a higher price but either of these will cure your problem
