Hi,
When the garage checked it did they check the connectors on the back of the dials?
The instrument cluster is all controlled by pcb's and if the connector is lose it may cause this.

I get this all the time with my Corsa. I've had three different garages check it who all say they can't find anything wrong - would be interested to hear if anyone has any suggestions!

On the back of your dials there is a connection block which the ecu needs to read for the car to work. This is a very common fault on corsas but can be fixed by the dials being took out and sent off to a company online for £40 then postage and packing to pay too. If the clocks and dials all go out this is 99% of the time the problem.
