wiring in stereo in my van now the van wont start and reversing sensors dont make a noise in reverse.please help.

it sounds like you have popped a fuse

Providing that at least some of the other electrical items work i would suggest that you have indeed popped a fuse.
Check to see if the hazard lights work? quite often the fuse for the hazards is also the fuse for the cd player dash lights etc. This would be where i would start looking then go from there.
