Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Year: 2004

hi, can anyone help me please. last week i had thick white smoke coming out from underneath my car, i turned her engine off and she didnt start. i have had her at a garage and they told me there was oil in all 4 cylinders and in the exhaust and that the engine had seized. the mechanic put a new engine in started her up and the exact same thing happened, oil again in all 4 cylinders and the exhaust, what could be causing this to happen ? thankyou vikki

has it siezed again or could it be the oil that is already in the exhaust? this could take a while to burn off

firstly engines don't just seize up ive been in the trade for donkeys years and are still to see an engine that has seized, how well do you know this garage/ mechanic there is absolutely no way you would get the exact same symptoms with a replacement engine, my first thoughts were you are probably getting ripped off. ask for the new engine number and get a second oppinion and go from there
