Hi new to forum have just got a vauxhall corsa 1.2 with problems ie emission warning light is on and cant find gears although car starts ok. Can these be connected or are they seperate issues. Does emission light mean an expensive new cat converter. Thanks for any help

Could try replacing the emission sensor on the exhaust. As for the gears, make sure that the cables are properly adjusted...

The gear linkage on g/box is a very common fault on that car . Re .emission light , is car running o.k , no misfires etc.?
