My Corsa is suffering from the following problem, a bit difficult to start in the morning, goes kangarro jumping, till warmed up, running around town no problems, go on a longer journey, ie; out of town/duel carriage/motorway, and i go over say 60, the engine warning lamp will come on, and i lose power, ie; foot to the floor, and the car will not respond, cut back on the revs, and the light will go out, and thats at under 60 mph, i have had a brand new coil pack fitted, and this has obviously made no difference at all, what should i try next???

Get a diagnostic scan carried out to see what triggered engine management light rather than guess .

could possibly be the crank position sensor which is easy to fit and costs about £18.00

changing cam position sensor worked on my daughters corsa. it also suffered similar problems but now it starts first time and runs like a watch!

Hi I hope some on could help me I have just bought this car and when I drive it after a bit of driving the engine light on the dash comes on but then it will go off but yesterday I was on the motorway and it came on but then went off when I indicated but then came back on and then it went off and now the stereo went off with it hope someone could shine the light in this for me thanks and would it be safe to drive with the light on?? Thanks jade.
