Slight knock when turning steering wheel

Not really noticeable unless you turn the steering wheel quickly left or right from the central position. Turn left quickly you hear one knock, same turning right. Knock is coming from beneath the footwell on the drivers side although I'm not 100% sure of this.

Checked the knuckle joint at the bottom of the column?
