rattle noise when engine running, but silent when clutch is depressed. Have fitted new clutch and bearing/slave cylinder but noise is still there. Any suggestions?

if dual mass flywheel knackered this should of been noticed when gearbox removed,flywheel normally knocks when pressing clutch down as putting more load on it,check your gearbox oil level and also check under the bonnet and underneath the car to pinpoint the noise,gearbox worth a look

Yes, I know what a flywheel is, but I had not heard of a dual mass one before. But not being in the motor trade, why would I.
I posted this question in the hope of receiving genuine advice, which the first two replies offered. But I should have known there would be a smart arse out there.
