2004 Vauxhall Combo fuel consuption increased after new fuel pump and ecu

I was wrongly advised by Vauxhall about an 'expensive' problem with my fuel pump. Changed it only to find the independent expert informed me it was only the ECU mapping. Either way, since then, my combo is using a lot more fuel. Can any one advise how or who can alter this to be more fuel efficient?

the fuel pump and injectors need to be programmed and the ecm should have the latest software uploaded and the canbus systems reconfigured
