Vauxhall Combo 2016 combo 1300 diesel ,fitted a new battery ,van now starts but dash completely blank

new batt fitted it now starts and everything works but dashbord completly blank fuel gauge/temp gauge rev counter and all warning lights not working radio works and all lights work but not dash

hi thanks for reply i checked all fuses and ok just wondering if its some sort of driver for dash as everything was ok before batt went flat when freezing and not used with covid restrictions

Could try disconnecting a lead from the new battery fitted for 10 mins and then hook up again .

hi done that evan tried holding leads together as it works on some bmw but still the same

Is it possible that that the panel lighting needs to be reset via reset button and scrolling through to illumination setting ? Page 81 onwards in owners manual . Does pushing set button do anything ?

hi pushing set does nothing nor does pushing button on wiper switch the panel does not illuminate its as if its switched of completely and rev counter does not work with engine running

Rev counter not working is usually crank sensor / wiring .

hi but would crank sensor make the whol dash dead no warning lights rev gauge /temp /fuel not a single light its just dead

No ,never seen it cause that .Last resort , try hitting dash with heel of your hand .
