I have a combo with the battery light on & brakes dont work. There is no fluid loss . The brake peddle is solid, does not move.I have read about a vacuum pipe problem but not with the combination of brakes & battery at same time.It may just be coincidence.Appreciate any help/ideas.Thanks in advance

Brake fault indicates a servo fault and MAY be vac hose . Need to check alternator with a meter and see what readings you are getting .
