Maybe worn gear linkage or worn clutch.

Hi thanks for reply , local garage diagnosed and renewed clutch with no difference a few people have mentioned that the clutch needs to be bled properly on these your thoughts please

Check clutch master cyl fluid level and also check for leaks .

Ok I will have it checked do you think it could be a faulty gearbox van has done 92000 miles 55 plate

It's possible g/box but more likely to be clutch when all gears are affected .Could need a new master cyl if leaking or drawing air but worth trying bleeding first .

Glad to help .Take bustedknuckles advice also as gear linkage is very common fault also , especially if a lot of play on gearstick.Usually costs about £100 /£120 parts and labour to replace.
