Radio Code & Key programming

2004 Vauxhall Combo 1.7 Diesel
Car: Vauxhall Combo
Year: 2004
Variant: 1.7 Diesel
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
The Battery went flat on the Combo and had to be recharged. It has now lost the Radio Code and it needs to be inputted. Is the Radio Code shown on the casing of the Radio if I remove same. If yes can you clarify how to remove the Radio - small hole on each corner of the Radio panel. Also as a result of the flat battery the remote Key is now not unlocking the Van can you clarify to process to realign the communication please. Thanks.

The radio code should be on the identity card that came with the vehicle. Otherwise you will need to get in touch with vauxhall to get a copy of the card. As for syncing the key to the vehicle, try turning on the ignition and pressing the lock button on the fob at the same time for a few seconds. Hope this helps...

Witty. Unfortunately the Card is no longer in the Van. The Dealer wants €30 to supply the Code and I just thought if I popped out the Radio and it was marked on it I would have it sorted.

You can pop the radio out to have a look if you wish, but if everyone wrote the code on the casing then how secure would the stereos be. Up for grabs for any one...
