2003 Vauxhall Combo remote control scrambled

Hi, don't know if anyone can help but the key fob for my combo suddenly started only locking when pressing the unlock button and wont unlock at all. I have checked the fuses, put a new battery in the key fob and tried the re syncing method as described in the hand book but to no avail. I have a new spare but it wont work at all !. This is driving crazy. any help would be appreciated.

Sorry mate that is definatly a main dealer costly job, never been able to solve this issue without plugging the vehicle into the computer along with the fob.
