2000 Vauxhall Combo off side parking light and rear light keep blowing fuse intermitantly

Hi
The fuse that protects the offside parking light and rear light keeps blowing, I replace fuse and it seems to work ok turn on lights ok drive home ok drive to work next day and fuse has blown again. can any one point me to a possible cause? thanks

Lights are working when you park the car and then in the morning without starting car they dont work ?

no the lights work before i start engine, notsure if they still work after, but fuse blown when arrived at work (2 miles) 6 or seven fuses now

Do you reverse out ? if so see if fuse goes when reverse lights operated perhaps ?

I've just replaced the fuse again tried start up ok,tried indicators, reverse,brake,still can't find what the cause is.still working at the momment just have to see when get home.

Right, I saw when the fuse blew this time.started engine turned on lights selected reverse and when let out cluch fuse blew!
I've replaced again and intend driving to work tomrow with out using reverse see what happens.

Check reverse light switch / wiring .

So I drove to work didn't use reverse and arrived to find fuse blown again! I think the reverse test was a coincidence.

Need to check wiring to make sure you have not got any bear wires shorting on the body...
