Hi, ive got a 52 plate combo 1.7di non turbo . the problem iam having is the battery light keeps flickering on , and today theres a squeek from the fan belt or alternator i think ! its had a recon alternator on 18 months ago , so just wondering if its the battery thats broke or a more serious problem ! thanks .. also windscreen wipers are sticking on slow speed ? good van tho !! ha ha ..

A load test on battery would tell you if it needs replacing. Most tyre and battery centres would do this free of charge. Also they can check the charging system to check if alternator giving correct voltage. The sqeale could keen that the belt needs adjusting.
