check your crankshaft sensor and crank pully. be carefull not to break the bracket that holds the sensor.i think the crank pully moved and the timing is out.i had the same problem twice.its worth checking.the sensor is situated at the bottom of the engine on the righthand side next to the crank pully. you can check the connections and if it is clean. what this sensor does is tell your engine when to fire. you will see that there is "tooths" on the crank pully but somewhere it seems as if it is a tooth missing.that is where the sensor picks up when to fire. if this pully shifts the timing is out. good luck.

The wiring to camshaft sensor was a known cause affecting this and putting light on .
