Vauxhall Astra time and date adjustment

The panel containing the two buttons for adjusting the Clock & Date have been pushed in too far and are now stuck in that position - consequently there is no adjustment available. Any suggestions on how to get these buttons back out to a usable position.

Need to remove and see if you can free the buttons up.
