2006 Vauxhall Astra problem getting vehicle engine started

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.4I XEP motor
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
After the engine overheating- due to a faulty radiator hose, the engine and parts was sent for pressure testing, honing and the rings were replaced. We can not get the vehicle restarted after the rebuild of the engine, we replaced the cam shaft positioning sensor, but are still not getting a spark to the plugs to get the vehicle running again. Several mechanics have tried but seem stuck. Please help. Thank you in advance.

have you tried or tested the crank position sensor and made sure its plugged in also do you have injector pulse (if you can test the injectors with a noid light and they flash then the crank sensor is ok )
