If Vauxhall and another gearbox specialist have confirmed the fault, why do you still doubt them ? There was a recall / fault with the g/boxes being ruined due to coolant getting in .

Is there any definative evidence regarding this fault with coolant getting into ATF? My father-in-law is experiencing a similar problem so I need all the info I can find as am anticipating an argument with dealer/manufacturer over who should pay for replacement auto gearbox.
