Noise from front

2005 Vauxhall Astra design
Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2005
Variant: design
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
my Astra is making a fairly high pitches squeaking noise (from the front wheels area) when i accelerate and gets faster as the car speeds up.
It does need new brake pads so i would expect a similar noise when i brake but it squeaks all the time i am driving and seems to be less squeaky when i do brake.

does anyone have any idea what this could be i would be very grateful for any info :)

Probably the brake pad screechers , which let you know pads are needing replaced .Simply a metal tab that scrapes on the disc .

could be a wheel bearing try jacking it up and spinning each wheel in turn to elliminate which side isnt bad, could also be a stone trapped between disc and backplate
