if the fuel filter was dirty with an oily film your injector seals or your pump drive seal is faulty. if its not oily bypass the fuel filter with a piece 8mm clear hose (b&q) it will help to get the car running by sucking up the fuel by mouth you should be able to pull fuel up but dont suck too hard lol if the car starts and runs ok the fault is with the filter assembly somewhere. if the fuel is dirty and it is not your injector seals i can get the drive seals changed for about £100 so dont listen to the local garage if the say your pumps not repairable :)
