0000 Vauxhall Astra losing turbo power

the power keeps droppin off and returning like the turbo has stopprd working also very occasionally the power steerin seems to go for a few seconds and lastly the car seems to overheat on long journeys. any clues would be appreciated. thank you

Check all hoses / pipes for turbo .Test alternator output and battery for power steering ( assuming it's EHPS ) Check rad. fan is cutting in for overheating and coolant level is not dropping .
