hi i've just bought 1.7 cdti sxi astra, i'm very happy with car except i'm getting serious back ache with the drivers seat, its though the lumber support is fully out when in fact its all the way in.. i've tried variuos positions with no luck.. my question is what other none bucket style seat from other astras or vauxhalls will fit my car and also will i have to find another seat with side airbags?... or does someone know of anyone who can modify my current seat. cheers

Could try any local coach trimmers for advice on seat but got to be very careful with airbags .

check the seat cushion to make sure it is`nt split and the seat frame is`nt poking through the cushion,if you do get another seat you will need one which has side air bag and seat belt pretensioner or your airbag light will come on,any seat from an astra or zafira should fit straight in,you will just have to check wiring connector under seat is the same
