1999 Vauxhall Astra turns over just will not start . i towed it and would not jumpstart but when we stopped it turned over no problem i let it idol/run for 15minutes switched it off everything fine. the next day it would not start again no fuel or heat

i would suspect the pump is at fault here when i was at vauxhall was replacing them all the time would be worth phoning the dealers to see if they are doing the recall on this problem may also be worth having the car on there diagnostics machine as may need a upto date reprogramme hope this helps

try replacing the seal on the fuel filter!! i know it seams silly but i have had it before, toke me ages to find it!
