Engine cut out

2006 Vauxhall Astra 1.8 design
Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.8 design
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
In the last couple of weeks occasionally when I start the car the engine starts normally then immediately cuts out. I have to turn the ignition off, wait, count to 10 and then try again - so far it then starts fine and runs OK. Seems to be getting more frequent now.

Loose or faulty electric connections somewhere in the ignition circuit or a vacuum leak on the throttle body or inlet manifold
