2006 Vauxhall Astra wont start

had a problem with startin it since ive had it every now and then when put key in turn it it starts then the car with the spanner through it comes on and it cuts out then yesterday i put key in and nothink happened apart from head lights came on without them bein put on and thats it car wont turn over or nothink

Best to get a diagnostic scan and see what faults are shown .
