1996 Vauxhall Astra starting problems

can anyone help me, every morning I have a problem starting my car it turns over perfectly but take about a minute to start once started I give it some revs and it seems to be fine until I come up to a junction and it might stop again but if it does stop I can put it into (N) and it starts again straight away, it does this intermittent stopping even when the engine is warm and as I am going along the engine splutters and the engine management light comes on but soon goes out again, I have just had put spark plugs in it and a new air filter can anyone help me thank you in advance Julian

Could check plug leads , coil pack and engine coolant temp sensor .

check your idle control valve and clean out,also check throttle postion sensor
