2004 Vauxhall Astra indicator lights not working

intermittent fault on indicators on drivers side of car. indicators down this side will stop working for several days with rapid clicking noise under fuse panel. all bulbs ok, fuse ok. problem will then clear for several days and then reoccur. can i sort this myself

Sounds like its a bad earth, indicator relay or indicator stalk . If earth o.k ,try the relay first .
