2006 Vauxhall Astra slight miss when accelerating

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2006
Variant: 19cdti
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
When driving it feels like there is a slight miss for a second (as if the engine is starved of fuel). When pressing accelerator it takes about a second for the engine to respond. EGR valve changed four months ago.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Regards
Tony

check the boost pressure control actuator is ok and that the vacuum pipes are tight, also check the differential pressure sensor and pipes are ok,make sure the inlet manifold is not coked up,do you have any fault codes stored?

vauxhall astra 19cdti 150bhp turbo diesel 06 reg
slight miss when not in turbo rev range. No enginge management lights on dashboard. Turbo works ok, but now & again a hesitation before the turbo kicks in. I have tried injector cleaner & a new egr valve fitted a few months ago.
