over heating have replace rad thermostet and water pump but fan kicks in at nearly 100 is there anything i have missed

hi,poss the water temp sender faulty, cheap to buy & easy to replace the sender measures the water temp & alters the water temp gauge accordingly, poss the gauge faulty but more likley the sender
