2003 Vauxhall Astra grinding noise when pulling away

Hi,
I have a slight grinding noise for 1-2 seconds when pulling away. It sounds like it is coming from the drivers front side.
It only happens the first time you pull away after starting the ignition & usually happens 1-2 seconds after pulling away.
Any suggestions as to what it may be would be greatly appreciated!
