when running eml flashes, on idle eml is steady. Fault codes read and as a result i have changed the coil pack & plugs, no difference in performance. Now they say erg valve or ecu need changing. Does anyone have any ideas other then reading the fault codes again.......

Try cleaning egr valve , this might help you .
