2004 Vauxhall Astra knocking or clunking when started

recently on starting the car i have heard a knocking or clunking noise which lasts for about 10 - 20 seconds. it doesn't happen all the time and i've never heard it whilst driving. this has started happening since a service was done recently. (don't know if this has anything to do with it?) any idea's what it could be?

First off does the oil pressure light stay on until this noise goes away. if it does then i would say that you have an oil pressure proble and you should not use the car as you will end up with severedamage
