2002 Vauxhall Astra help loosin power and cutting out at times!!!

please help my astra keeps loosing power it especially does not like 4 or 5th gear i cuts out at times wen slowing down had it a garage they are strugglin to find the problem have had the coyle pack changed, spark plugs,egr valve n a couple of other bits i have had a new ECU put it but the problem is still not solved!!!

sounds to me that this is an air related problem. check all vaccum hoses and clean out throttle body and idle air control valve!! these are the things that should be looked at before condeming any ECU or engine management component. hope this helps!!!
