1998 Vauxhall Astra power steering

I have changed the pressure feed pipe from the ps pump to the rack (the old one had a hole).The steering now shakes violently as soon as you touch it,so violent you can't hold the steering wheel.It worked fine until I changed the pipe,any ideas!.

Try changing it back to see what happens, or take it off and refit it.
