2013 Vauxhall Astra service light power loss

Engine service light comes up on start up and if i rev high 4.5-5k it go's into limp mode, if i pull over switch engine off and back on seems ok again

Many possible causes , could try changing fuel filter . If not that , needs scanned for fault codes to see what is triggering the light

thanks for reply got it booked in Friday just a bit worried its something serious maybe Turbo or DPF

Yea not had to rev that high all week its only occasionally especially when pulling out from work busy road right on a bend sometimes have to tow it a bit so really don't need it dropping into limp mode when i need to pull on to a busy road.

Took the car for a drive Same problem :(
