2013 Vauxhall Astra clutch does not engage

Can select gears when not running, doesn't feel like I can force it into gear when running. Has happened twice before, then just carried on working.

Could check your clutch fluid level is ok and top up if needed . If not that , hard to diagnose intermittent faults but may be internal with clutch plate possibly sticking / wear and tear and needing replaced .

Thank you! Sadly, I know only the basics of car maintenance. If it needs a whole new clutch it's not worth the £900 repair ?.

All depends on car condition , mileage , MOT etc . but would be very , very surprised if value of car far exceeds the cost of replacing a clutch , if needed
