I have a Astra 1.6 on a 15 plate and I am having trouble with my gears Sometimes
The gear will not go in unless I turn off the engine and Waite a few seconds or I put it to 1 gear then start the engine
This has happened a few times but I thought I was imagining it

Check the clutch master cyl fluid level and check for any sign of leaks . If ok , may be clutch assembly wear and tear and needing replaced

Hi, did this ever get fixed and what was the problem please? I have exactly the same on my 2017 Astra SRi

My clutch was changed in November and this has happened a few times since . Always in built up areas too . Takes at least 3-5mins to go back into first gear.
