Battery appears to be dead THEN by removing negative lead from battery waiting for about 1minute replace lead and car starts ok

Drove car approx 20 Mls
Came back to start car battery appeared to be dead. Removed negative lead waited about 1mi Ute replaced lead car started
Have had battery checked twice and no defet
with battery

Have you had the battery LOAD tested after lying overnight . Driving to garage for testing puts a charge back into battery and can give a false reading .
