Astra can not engage gears down when slowing down at roundabouts

Changing down gears when aproaching a roundabout can not engage second gear and thenno gears at all briefly, final force a gear in and get moving, then suddenly everything ok again

Replies and fixes

Check your clutch fluid level and top up if needed .Check for any signs of fluid leakage at master cyl . Or could try bleeding . Also check for wear on gear linkage and shift cables . Possibly clutch wear and tear or sticking .
