2016 Vauxhall Astra astra 2016 k alarm sounds off, indicators not working + autobox interior indicator not illuminated.

Astra 2016 k alarm sounded off this afternoon when I turned the key to obtain access to the vehicle. The exterior indicator lights did not work whilst the alarm was sounding off. The alarm sounded off for about 20 seconds then stopped, then sounded again (whilst the car drove normally). This repeated about five times then stopped altogether. The car thencontinued to drive normally but without the interior selector lever indicator (P,R,N,D) being illuminted. The car is not yet five years old, done just over 15,000 (backed by MOT evidence) and has been trouble free in the six months I have owned it. Has anyone experienced the symptons detailed above.
