Engine light flashes yellow and warning traction light on

Runs about 1mile then the above lights come on and car sounds not to be firing on all plugs and loss of some power then when left till morning starts and runs fine again for another mile then does same again had it in for diagnostics but it says nothing wrong

Often happens when plugs and / or coil pack needing replaced .How it did not show fault codes for what had triggered the engine when scanned with suitable equipment is very unusual to say the least .
