Fuel injection pump

the car lost power and cut out,garage said it's the fuel injection pump.Can these be repaired or how much is a new or recon pump.Are they easy enough to fit.Thanks.

Not easy to repair, you can get a recon pump from most motor specialists. I think there are few listed on here.

for a recon pump you will be looking around the 250 mark plus the vat and a surcharge and i wouldnt try to replace it your self as they need to be timed up with the engine would get the garage to fit it for you
