Engine losing power

2011 Vauxhall Astra 1.7
Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2011
Variant: 1.7
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
The engine will lose power for ~1 second at different revs. Most frequently this happens at about 1500rpm, 1800rpm and 2000rpm and can happen quite often when going up hill or accelerating up to 50-70mph. The garage couldn't check it as it doesn't happen every time the car is on, so they couldn't register the problem

Often you can retrieve a stored fault code by scanning with the like of Tech2/3 or similar . Hard to say without that info as many possibilities . Could try changing fuel filter .
