2016 Vauxhall Astra overheating warning.

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2016
Variant: Eco Flex Tech Line

Overheating warning twice yesterday so called RAC, all fluids ok as just had a service 2 months ago and no fault codes. He said it could be a sensor fault. Anyone else had this?

There have been other Vauxhall models with what seems to be a false reading of overheating and have been cured with a software update . If a faulty sensor it normally would have a fault code stored .

If you contact a local Vauxhall dealership service department they should be able to tell you IF any updates available for your vehicle .
