Clutch pedal drop after engine stall

When the engine has stalled for no reason On restarting the engine shudders and shakes for a time until it restarts again but then the clutch pedal has dropped and has to be lifted by foot to get a clutch pedal back up and the is fine until the next stall.
Any ideas ?

Possibly internal clutch issue ,probably require stripped out to check

Checking fluid level in reservoir wouldn't go wrong , but rather strange

Was thinking dual mass flywheel ,clutch issue ,when you had said vibration.

As suggested above , DMF can cause vibration and rattle . Hydraulic problem with master or slave cyl leaking and drawing air another possible cause .

I have had exactly the same problem with my Astra. Same year and model.
