2017 Vauxhall Astra yesterday my vauxhall astra turbo just cut out in traffic.

I stopped at the pedestrian crossing, the engine cut out with no warning after I had put the park button on, and put the car into neutral. It would not turn over, I was in a one way system, due to covid in the middle of Stratford upon avon. The police had to tow me to a layby so traffic could continue to move. The RAC were unable to solve the problem and towed me to a garage. I shudder to think what could have happened if this had occurred while I was on a motorway!
