Shouldn't normally have to , but try bleeding brakes

if the reservoir is still full I would imagine the master cylinder is at fault..what happens if you hit the brake pedal quickly?
Posted Mar 28, 2018 (6 years ago)
Could have damaged / reversed the seals inside master cyl when pushing pistons back ion replacing pads .

if I hit the pedal quick and hard it just go's straight to the floor nothing else no pedal pressure also no fluid leakage ??

If you can pump up the pedal , try bleeding as suggested .Nothing to lose except a little time and some brake fluid .

Is it the same with engine running and engine off?

yes the same with or without engine running

If you have brake pipe clamps try clamping all flexi hoses.
It should go solid,
unless it's a master cyl fault.
Assuming it does go solid then removing one clamp at a time will isolate where the weak point is.

the master cylinder has failed
